How do I save a spot?

Tap the camera, point it at the room number, parking sign, locker or ticket, and take the photo. Check the number SpotBack filled in, then tap Save. You can also type it in.

When does a spot disappear?

Hotel rooms clear at noon on checkout day, everyday parking at 6 AM the next morning, lockers after 4 hours, and seats a few hours after the event. At airports, train stations and cruise ports, parking stays until you're back. You can extend or clear any spot yourself.

I need a spot that already cleared.

Open History. Cleared spots stay there for 7 days, and Restore brings them back.

"Walk me back" doesn't know where I parked.

SpotBack saves your location only if you allowed location access when you saved the spot. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → SpotBack and choose "While Using the App".

How do I add the widget?

Widgets are part of SpotBack Plus. Touch and hold the lock screen or home screen, tap Customize or Edit, then add SpotBack.

My spots aren't on my Apple Watch.

The Watch app is part of SpotBack Plus. Install SpotBack on the Watch from the Watch app on your iPhone, then open it once on the Watch. Spots are sent from your iPhone, so keep it nearby.

How do I cancel SpotBack Plus?

On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → SpotBack. You can also tap Manage in SpotBack's Settings. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged.

I got a new iPhone. Where are my purchases?

Open SpotBack → Settings → Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID.

Is my information private?

Yes. Everything stays on your device; there are no accounts or servers. See the privacy policy.
